Despite the expectation created by the color and complex nose, it begins with a rather moderate body followed by black cherries, coffee and a layered texture.

This beer is a stunning example of the brewers vision. Saison yeast raises fruit and complex spicy phenols whilst the Togaji barrel yields oakwood and complex white vinous fruits.
Rounded yet refreshing, the dry finish is exemplary and begs another sip.
