In 2017, the fifth-generation family business, which operates in the region, launched a cold-hopped lager on the market, calling it "Schwarzwaldmarie". This called the Wettbewerbs-zentrale on the scene. The complaint was dismissed: Ulm, Baden, is in the Black Forest, and the beer, including the name, is completely "legal." Thanks to media hype, 1,500 hectoliters of Schwarzwaldmarie were sold in the first year. The wide range of products fills the year with different specialties.
