The pub brewery belongs to the Batzen Häusl in the center of Bolzano. Three brewmasters work there; Christian Pichler, Thomas Münster and Tobias Tratter. With 4,500 hl/year, over 20 beers are available year-round, 15 always on tap.
In the South Tyrolean capital, brewing is diverse. Batzen Bräu produces a Gose, kettlesour, for example. Or a Fruit Sour Beer, brewed with black currants and a cold-hopped New Style Weisse.
