Apply as a Beer Judge

You want to become part of the Global Family? We are very pleased to hear from you! In order to assess your suitability as a  beer judge at the European Beer Star, we would of course like to know more about you. Therefore, we ask you to send us the following documents:

• Cover letter
• Curriculum vitae with qualifications relevant for tasting
• 3 letters of recommendation from current or former European Beer Star tasters.

Please fill out the application form below. Once you have uploaded the documents, you will automatically be placed on a watch list and considered for future competitions as a beer judge. Due to the large number of applications, an invitation to the following competition cannot be guaranteed. We ask for your understanding.

Note: Sensory background, such as training as a beer sommelier, BJCP certification, or similar, will assist in the application process, but is not the sole selection criterion. Applicants from breweries who can demonstrate regular sensory work in the field are just as welcome as certified tasters. It's all in the mix! We are particularly pleased to get to know the applicants in person. Because the special ambience at the European Beer Star comes from special people. According to the motto:
